    Velora's Place is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information with the discretion and care it deserves. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).

    We only collect personal information that is necessary to fulfill your order and improve your experience:

    • Order & payment dataproducts purchased, order totals, billing province, and a tokenized payment reference (we do not store full card numbers).

    How We Use Your Information

    • Processing and fulfilling your orders, including computing the correct sales tax for your province.
    • Sending order confirmations, shipping updates, and customer-care correspondence.
    • Sending optional marketing or loyalty emails — only if you have explicitly opted in.
    • Preventing fraud, age-gating the storefront, and meeting our legal obligations.

    Discreet Billing & Packaging

    Your privacy continues right through to delivery. Charges from Velora's Place appear on your card or bank statement under a generic descriptor — typically VLR WELLNESS — with no reference to the nature of the products purchased.

    Every order ships in a plain, unmarked box with a neutral return address. There are no product images, brand logos, or category labels visible on the outside of the package.

    Third Parties We Share Data With

    We share the minimum information required, only with vetted service providers who are contractually bound to protect it:

    • Payment processorto authorize and capture your payment securely.
    • Shipping & fulfillment partneryour name and address only, to deliver the order.
    • Email serviceto send order updates and any opt-in newsletters.

    We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

    Data Retention & Security

    We retain order records for the period required by Canadian tax and consumer-protection law (typically 7 years). Loyalty and marketing data is retained until you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe.

    All data is transmitted over TLS-encrypted connections, payment data is tokenized by our processor, and access to customer records inside Velora's Place is restricted to the few staff who need it to do their job.

    Cookies & Local Storage

    We use a small number of essential cookies and browser storage values to keep your cart, remember your age confirmation, and run basic anonymous analytics. We do not use third-party advertising or social-media tracking pixels.

    Your Rights Under PIPEDA

    As a Canadian customer, you have the right to:

    • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
    • Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
    • Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time.
    • Request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations.
